Reef Experience is a luxury day trip to the outer Great Barrier Reef.
We commencing with boarding at 7:30am, at the Marlin Jetty in  Cairns for a BBQ breakfast.
We then cruise to the Great Barrier Reef, where we spend 6 full
hours snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming & visiting 2 spectacular
reef locations. We come face to face with schools of
tropical reef fish & amazing spectacular coral formations.
Let our friendly, highly trained scuba dive instructors & crew show you the underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef on an introductory scuba dive or certified scuba diving. The glass bottom boat departs regularly for coral & marine life viewing.
Our 2nd location, Breaking Patches, is renowned for it's forest staghorn coral, large sea fans & black coral trees, yielding some 400 species of coral, & a vertical wall teaming with marine life.

On departure it's time to hold on and enjoy the ride - lots of fun and bubbles with our Boom-netting. Cruising back to Cairns at Dolphin speed so keep an eye out for our dolphins as they surf along side most days, sit back, relax or socialise with new friends with a cold drink from our bar, on our spacious sundeck. View the days video and watch the sun go down on one of the seven natural wonders of the world as you enjoy complimentary wine, cheese & tropical fruits. |

| Reef Magic Cruises Marine World Outer Great Barrier Reef pontoon |
|
A specially constructed platform with an underwater observatory, sun lounges, moon pool, and other amenities, Marine World provides a unique outer-reef experience. Closely fringed by marine life with a low daily-passenger allowance, this two-storey reef activity platform is an ideal place to experience a relaxed, fun, and personalized day on the reef. Discover the quality, colours, and diversity of reef life here in any number of ways, whether you prefer to get wet or stay dry, whether you're a first-timer or pro.
 Lounge in the sun or enjoy a marine biology presentation. Hop aboard an interactive semi-submersible tour. Jump in the water for snorkelling (equipment and instruction provided) or get up close to the fish during a feeding demonstration. Morning and afternoon tea and a hot and cold smorgasbord lunch are also included. And there’s a host of optional extras available to book now or onboard for those wishing to do anything from diving to taking flight in a scenic helicopter tour.
- Maximum passenger loading of 190 (average last 12 months: 80-90 pax/day) to a platform capable of taking 300 passengers. Plenty of room to move and no crowds.
- Passenger to Crew ratio of 9:1 providing passengers with highly personal service.
- Marine World is a spacious , stable, all weather platform with shelter and shade providing increased comfort in all conditions and particularly in rough or rainy weather.
Extensive high quality coral gardens at our own private Outer Reef mooring which is not shared by other operators. Outer Reef locations provide higher densities of colourful soft/hard coral and less sand providing maximum water clarity and greatly improved underwater visibility.
- Easy-access snorkel platform suitable for all ages and swimming abilities.
Boat is tied along the Pontoon for the entire day with constant access to change rooms, fresh water showers and toilet facilities.
- A dedicated dive tender takes Certified divers on some of the best drifting wall and channel dives available on a day trip form Cairns.
Introductory divers access the reef from the safety of our sheltered "Moon-Pool" directly under the Pontoon.
- Hot/Cold buffet lunch with seafood and vegetarian options served on the comfort of the pontoon. Bar facilities available.
 Marine World offers a greater variety of "dry" activities (included in the cruise price) perfect for those customers not comfortable swimming or simply not wanting to spend the entire day in the water but still make the most of their reef experience. These include:
- Underwater Observatory accessible throughout the day with daily fish feeding demonstration and interpretation
Interactive Semi-Submersible tours with live commentary.
- Spacious upper sundeck with sun lounges complete with shaded areas for summer, perfect for those guests wanting to soak up the tropical warmth
