How to get to Cairns
 
Fly - Tropical North Queensland approx 2 hour flight from Brisbane Cairns is serviced by domestic flights from Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin and Perth – Virgin Blue, Qantas and Jetstar have flights every day to Cairns
   
Queensland Rail – Cairns is the final station of Queensland North Coast Railway line which follows the Eastern seaboard from Brisbane including the high speed train ‘The Tilt Train’
   
By bus – Greyhound, Oz Experience passes available so that you can get on and off and explore all the great regions of Australia.
   
Campervans are also a great option and will offer great flexibility to get you around and allow you the flexibility to discover Queensland at your own pace.


Cairns is approximately 1700 kilometres (1057 miles) north of Brisbane, 2420 kilometers (1504 miles) north of Sydney.
